Can Ultrasound Reverse Aging?

According to the University of Texas, it may sound too good to be  true but while we’re all looking for a way to  prevent aging, scientists are claiming they may have found it. Ultrasound waves may be the key to slow down aging and help us look younger.

According to the University of Texas study’s findings that were published in New Scientist, ultrasound waves have been found to restart division in cells, which, in a way, reinvigorates them.

The older we get, the more our cells divide less and less, and those  inactive cells are the main reason we age. These cells emit toxins that  trigger inflammation, which can cause everything from high blood  pressure to dementia to heart disease.

In their experiments, University researchers put mice that were equal  to the age of an aging human placed in a tub where ultrasound waves  were placed. The study explains that the waves were not nearly as strong  as the sound waves they use to take medical images.

They discovered that the rodents used with the ultrasound therapy had  their cells come back to life or jumped back into the cell division  process turning back the clock. The little critters were then able to  run faster and much longer on their treadmill than a mouse that was  untreated. They also found that the process even reversed one of the old  mouse’s hunched back.
